What does walking have to do with chewing gum? Have Hockey on the Rocks found a new brand name to start selling? Who deserves to be team captain?
All of these questions are contained in and largely answered in this weeks episode of Two Guys 1 Puck. Featuring Ryan, Jonathon, Kevin and special guest Justin Goldman, TG1P-EP9 takes a look at the past two weeks of Colorado Avalanche hockey. The guys examine the Avalanche’s inability to win at home while also discussing opinions on who deserves to be the captain of Colorado and why Erik Johnson is no longer on the list for consideration.
The Matt Duchene Experiment is also discussed at length, as is whether or not TJ Galiardi deserves to be centering his own line. Is that too much responsibility? Probably. Of course there is talk of both Semyon Varlamov and Jean-Sebastien Giguere and Justin even mentions the upcoming slate of goaltenders.
Unfortunately, because of an unknown head injury, Peter Mueller is as absent in the conversation of this podcast as he is on the ice for the Avalanche.
